Earthshock Helmet Project

Hi all,

Just thought I'd let you guys into my recent project that kept me out of mischef for the past couple of months.

It's a bit of a long story to start with but I'll try and keep it brief; I have owned a Millenium FX replica cyberman helmet for a couple of years now but if the truth be told its the Earthshock/Nemesis look that's always done it for me. Isuppose it has only since this last Christmas that I've been seriously looking around for a good replica helmet to buy for display. Anyway a few months ago I stumbled across one for sale on Ebay that actually looked quite accurate and with a reasonable 'buy it now' price that if truth be told seemed to good to be true...

Hello!

Having for some time looked around this forum for reference photos and ideas for my upcoming project, I thought it was time to:

a) Join this group that really looks as though it has some very helpful people with excellent advice that I can (with luck) contribute to, and

b) Actually get my project started, and document it on this page.

So, my project (that I've been wanting to do for some time now) is to attempt to scratch build an "Earthshock" style Cybergun as cheaply as possible. I don't think that this will be an easy task, as I have seen that some parts of the prop are difficult to find, and I have very little experience in prop building. I'd just like to see if it can be done.

The Earthshock Cybergun has always been a prop from the series that has interested me, I would very much like to have a go at replicating it.

However I do want to ask....

Does anyone have a chest piece they might be able to recast for me? Or know where I could find one, its not got to be perfect, my builds are rarely accurate. Im looking to make a sort of battle scared version anyhow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
